This application is for a travel grant of up to $1500 for early career researchers in the geosciences to attend the EarthCube Annual Meeting June 14th-16th in San Diego. The due date for your application is April 25th. Early career is defined here as ten years out from completion of the highest degree earned or currently in school earning a degree. Applicants should have submitted an abstract to give a presentation at the meeting. If an applicant has not submitted an abstract already, they will be given the opportunity to submit an abstract for a POSTER presentation and should submit the abstract with this form. In addition, this award recognizes that underrepresented and minoritized groups within the geosciences may face more significant barriers to retention and advancement within the field, and these groups will be given priority for funding.
