The Sediment Experimentalist Network has three working groups.
To join or learn more about a working group, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or a leader of the working group.
SEN Knowledge Base
Contacts: Leslie Hsu and Raleigh Martin
SEN-KB is building a knowledge base that synthesizes research activities of experimentalists, including data sets and methods and equipment information. SEN-KB actively aggregates existing and newly-collected experimental data and tools so that there is a central information hub for experimentalists.
SEN Education & Standards
Contacts: Brandon McElroy and Raleigh Martin
SEN Education and Data Standards (SEN-ED) promotes good data management practices through a collection of efforts led through workshops, special sessions, the NCED Summer Institute, and outreach. SEN-ED is facilitating development of suggested guidelines for data and metadata management, and the dissemination of this information to end-users.
SEN Experimental Collaboratories
Contacts: Wonsuck Kim and Kimberly Miller
SEN Experimental Collaboratories (SEN-EC) strives to tap synergies among multiple experimental facilities through the execution, broadcasting, and replication of community experiments, and by sharing data and tools for analysis.
