Enter the building from either New York Avenue or I (Eye) Streets. Take the stairs down to level with the fountain, then take the elevators to the 4th floor. Signs and staff will guide you to the Consortium for Ocean Leadership conference room.
If you are traveling to the workshop via Metro, the Consortium for Ocean Leadership is about 2 blocks north of the Metro Center station. There is no reserved parking in the building for workshop attendees. There is a garage in the building accessed off I (Eye) Street, and there are several additional garages with daily parking within a two block radius.
The workshop organizers have funding to cover the cost of attendance (travel, room, and board) for invited participants. Please fill out the registration form if you have already invited. If you have not been invited but would like to attend please contact Mark D. Uhen or Jack Williams to see if there is space left in the workshop.
Accommodations for the workship will be at the DoubleTree Hotel, at 1515 Rhode Island Avenue NW, and Holiday Inn Central Washington DC, at 1501 Rhode Island Ave. NW, Washington, D.C. Both accommodations and air travel will be arranged centrally by the IEDA office at Columbia University. For travel and accommodation logistics, please contact Joanna Zampas by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 845-365-8476.
