The EarthCube Sci-Tech Matchup is a new series of online lightning talks hosted by the EarthCube Science Committee to help scientists find the tools they need.
The Science Committee is partnering with the Technology and Architecture Committee and EarthCube funded projects to present 12 ready-to-use EarthCube Tools over two online sessions. Video clips featuring tools will be made available afterwards as part of a community resource. With the maturation of tools crafted by EarthCube funded projects, the EarthCube Science Committee is excited to establish this fresh focus on helping scientists find the tools that they need. This will take both informal routes (pointing scientists to lists and descriptions of tools), and formal routes, including fostering selected collaborations through a Science Applications effort, and are eager to showcase collaborations resulting in new science made possible through EarthCube tools.
