Project abstract: DAsHER CD is to design a conceptual EarthCube Architecture to support EarthCube for facilitating data communication and human collaboration in pursuit of collaborative geosciences. The final product will be a four-volume report containing different viewpoints that describes EarthCube architecture from different conceptual perspectives, such as capabilities, operations, services, projects and so on. It will provide a comprehensive conceptual reference on developing a detailed and practical architecture to support building geoscience cyberinfrastructure to address the requirements from the EC community.
